Configure a DCAM Customer to View a DMLSS Catalog

In the Systems Services application, click Navigate and Service/Customer.
Select the logistics organization from the MTF/Unit drop-down menu and click OK.
From the Basic tab on the DMLSS System Services [Service/Customer Detail (New)] screen, enter the SVC Cust ID, SVC Customer Name and Cost Center. Check the External Customer and DCAM Customer options. The Passing Indicator option must be unchecked.
From the Materiel tab, enter a default location. Note the RIC of the authorized source of supply. The DCAM user enters this RIC in the DCAM environment setup.
From the Submission tab, select Code S from the Media Status drop-down menu. Select FTP from the Default Submission Method drop-down menu. Select MILSTRIP from the Submission Form drop-down menu. The account fields at the bottom of the screen are not editable. Click Save.
The login fields become active. The DCAM Status field appears and the buttons are enabled.
Click the button next to DCAM Order Loginid.
Enter a login ID and password. The DCAM user will use this login and password for their Send Orders profile. Check the HTTPS option for Protocol. When finished, click Save and Close.
From the Submission Tab, click the button next to DCAM Status Loginid and repeat step 9. The DCAM user will use this account for the Get Files and Get Status profiles.

NOTE: The same or a different login ID can be used to build a download account.

When finished, the remaining days for passwords to stay on the Submission tab are displayed. Assign the LP pending action to an IM user to provide notification of impending password expiration.
To complete the setup, click the Funding tab. Associate an expense center to the DCAM customer or build a new one. The DCAM user should enter an APC or a fund code matching those assigned in DMLSS.
Click Save, and Close. Provide the DMLSS server IP address, log ins, passwords, RIC and APC/Fund Code to the DCAM customer.
Return to System Services.
