Configure DCAM Client to Communicate with DMLSS

  1. In DCAM, select Utilities, Setup and Environment to display the existing environmental information. Click Insert at the bottom of the screen.
  2. Enter the DODAAC and Description. Enter at least one Fund Code or APC. Click Add. Additional information that can be added includes a yearly budget, serial number range, as well as at least one supplementary address. Click OK.
  3. Click Close.
  4. Select Utilities, Setup and Network Accounts to display all of the existing accounts.
  5. Click the Insert button in the vertical toolbar.
  6. From the Server Type drop-down menu, select DMLSS. Type the IP Address for the DMLSS server in the Host field.
  7. Choose None for the DMLSS DCS.
  8. Enter 443 in the Port field.
  9. In the two credentials fields, enter into DMLSS the user IDs and passwords established for the DCAM accounts. The Download Credentials user name and password will be the same as the DCAM Status login ID and password. The Upload Credentials will be the same as the DCAM Order login ID and password. Click OK to save the information.
  10. Click Close in the Network Account Manager screen.
  11. To populate DMLSS catalog data, select Transfers and Via Network. The Network Transfer Manager screen opens.
  12. Highlight the account and click Connect.
  13. DMLSS files available for download appear. Click Get Supplier Files.
  14. After downloading the files, the status bar displays the number of supplier files ready to be processed in the lower left corner of the screen. Double-click on the files to begin processing.
  15. In the Process Incoming Files screen, highlight all the files you want to process. Click the "Process..." button.
  16. The Import Files screen displays the status of the files. Click Close.
  17. After processing the selected files, highlight the files and click Delete.
  18. Click Close.
